I hope he will still find me and want to marry me.
Of course I am also in love with my high school sweetheart whom I have been reunited with after 20 years separation as we each produced children and became even more amazing humans..

But I am also in love with.... My teaching job, and my classroom which I just finished Lazuring and adding tree branches to our little in-room tree house. I hung origami butterflies (that I had made this weekend) from the branches and I hope it will enchant the children. The Pumpkins seed were started weeks ago, I am hoping to have beautiful pumpkin vines climbing up over our garden wall and have the pumpkins grow on our wall, which is 16 inches wide. I am hoping I will be able to recognize the male from female blooms and have the children help pollinate the blooms. Of course at school we do have new beehives so those bees may get the job done. We have a huge biodynamic garden at school and the bees may find that are more attractive, fewer little ones running about.

I have the early Kinders and am so excited. I am making some puppets and thinking up songs and little plays for the puppets to perform. Off to L.A. this weekend for a week long class in Circle time and The healing aspects of singing in the 5th with these little ones. It is really a dream come true.

I am in love with everything in my life.

Bill Nye The wonder of this Universe

I have decided I am in love with Bill Nye. rare, it is 56F outside and it makes me really crave some wool batting, I know this is weird. At our handwork group, which is a group of moms that get together to make handmade gifts for our school store. So last year our Leader ordered this huge roll of wool batting, for us Mom's to use needle felting. Well for over a year now I have been yearning for it! She can't remember where she bought it. But I want it! I want my own huge roll of the fluffy stuff! On chilly days I browse through the internet to find, to no availe. Could be a good thing. Since making the move, I put away all of my fun things, my spinning wheel, my other wool, all of it! It is in a moving pod, in a warehouse where I cannot touch it for months. I thought this would help me concentrate on work. It hasn't helped.

So here I sit, browsing the web, looking for the batting, saving Photo's of projects I would like to work on to a file. I should be out knitting on my shawl... he he he.. But that is too much like fun, and if I sit on the computer it is more like work.

In fact I am working, brought the pups in cause I could see they were cold outside. They are so freaking sweet, I am getting really picky about who I will sell them to now. Here are some pup photos to brighten your day.

Errata~! Lovely Lovely Errata!

Can I be the only one who has done this? Knitting Poncho, happily knitting poncho until row 41~ WTF? This can't be right.. so instead of Frogging it, which is my habit, I threw it in my bag and carried it around with me for 3 months. So on a whim, today finally! I looked up the errata! Guess what? Here it is! ha ha ha ha ha!! I love the internet!!!!!!!!!!! I just had to paste it in here to show. . I know someone else would have guessed at the problem, but not me! They had written k1f/b twice, instead of K2tog twice! Makes a big difference and I am so happy now!
Eudora ( page 108)On page 110, Row 41 should read: K3, * k2tog twice, k6, (k1-f/b) twice, k7, ssk, k2tog, k8, (k1-f/b) twice, k7, ssk; repeat from * to marker, k3 (211 stitches remain).
Now, if I could only get the gummy bear, bobbie pin and other scary stuff out of the poncho, I would be good to go!
A frogger no more forever! I always frog things, so this has boosted me and I will never frog again with out checking for errata first! Yay
This is a poncho I am making for my 2 little chicks, they will share it. It is called Eudora from Viva Poncho by STC crafts I will post pics when my camera is up again. I was so happy to find the errata and realize I wasn't crazy! So of course it is the worst and best night of the week. The Best because for 8 hours, my house is quiet. The worst because I always disappoint myself. Idly dreaming of the hours with out little voices asking me for things, and then the night arrives, and I find myself somehow tired, wiped out and falling asleep at 10:00 having given up on finishing whatever project I had dreamt of.
Project I am working on now, The little cat in the knitting book. I had to find something to use this super soft acrylic yarn on. Word of Caution, for all those new knitters out there like me. Wooden Needles with this yarn is not a really good fit, sort of that fingernails on chalkboard sensation. But I am almost finished and don't want to buy a pair of plastics for only a few more minutes of work. So anyway, I typically hate acrylics, but on a desperate day at "Michael's Crafts" I felt this yarn, I refused to use it but kept thinking about it for another few days and finally had to go and buy it. Then I had to pick something to knit up. So this kitty was perfect and because it is acrylic it will wash. I used huge Ole 11's, I will need to line it so the stuffing won't fall out. but I hate to use a fluffy yarn and then crimp it all in with a tight stitch. Now that I am knitting European I can't seem to knit loose even if I try.
I am doing it all in white, don't want to mess with the stripes. This one is purely for the comfort of knitting with this super soft yarn. The yarn is from Patton it is in their baby stuff, white with shiny white strands.
